Cookie In A Mug!

It’s Sunday evening here and my husband was really craving chocolate chip cookies! We had just finished up dinner, and dishes and I didn’t want to make a mess again. So I had remembered seeing something called a Cookie In A Mug and figured this might be our best bet! It was delicious, and so easy to make! You probably have all the ingredients at home in your fridge, or pantry right now! Below is the recipe to make a single serve recipe chocolate chip cookie in a mug!

♥ 1 Tbsp melted butter

♥ 1 Tbsp White Sugar

♥ 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar

♥ Pinch of Salt

♥ 1 Egg YOLK

♥ 1 Tsp vanilla

♥ 1/4 Cup Flour

and ♥ 2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

Mix all the ingredients into a mug and microwave for 60 seconds.

( I didn’t spray the mug, but I suppose you could if you wanted too. We didn’t find that the cookie stuck so you may have to try it out)

This will certainly be my husbands go to snack! It’s great for several reasons. Like I previously mentioned, you don’t have to dirty a ton of dishes to make these cookies. Also, you won’t feel tempted to eat more then one cookie if you’re only making one at a time. Make them, and while its in the microwave clean up your items so you don’t feel like you need to make another one! ONE, is more then enough, you could even cut down on the chocolate chips if you feel it’s too chocolatey. You’ll definitely want milk with these cookies!

Let me tell you something about cheesecake, I feel like you either love cheesecake, or you hate it. There is no “It’s alright”, or “I guess I could eat it”. My husband used to be a hate it fan, but ONLY because he had never tried cheesecake before! I was in shock, who has never tried cheesecake before? So a few years back we went to The Cheesecake Factory and of course had their cheesecake! That is where he fell in love with the decadent dessert. To this day cheesecake is our absolute favorite indulgent when we are craving something naughty.

Before I discovered FreshTape I was among the many people who use those pesky chip clips to close everything. I used them to reseal all of my children’s snacks that I didn’t want to go stale along with things like salad bags, or potato chips.
